Our Family and School Alliance (F.S.A.) is the equivalent of the Parent/Teacher Associations (P.T.A.) many of you grew up with. Our goal is to support our school. That means a better education for your child, both academically and socially. We hope you will consider joining us for such a great cause! We know that children do better in schools when their parents are involved. We really need your help when activities require volunteers and hope you’ll make every effort to assist at least once—parents, guardians, aunts, uncles, grandparents—your student would love to see you at school!

Meeting Dates: 9/23, 10/13, 11/10, 12/8, 1/12, 2/18, 3/9, 4/13, 5/11, 6/8

All meetings are held at 6:30pm in the school's all-purpose room.
Children are welcome to attend.

Membership in the FSA can be purchased for $10. Membership includes voting rights for FSA related spending. You DO NOT have to be a member to attend our meetings.

Monthly Casual Dress Days: Students can pay $1 per month to wear their choice of clothing (please review the regulations in the handbook). The money should be sent in the same day as the casual dress days. Dates are as follows: 10/5, 11/3, 12/2, 1/7, 2/5, 3/8, 4/13, 5/5, 6/3.

October: Community Career Day 10/16, Halloween Trunk Treats 10/30 6:30 pm

November: Movie Night 11/18 6:30pm

December: Giving Tree 11/30-12/18, Holiday Bazaar 12/12 12-4pm,
January: Movie Night 1/22 6:30pm

February: Winter Carnival postponed!!

March: Wacky Wednesday 3/3, Book Fair 3/1-3/4, Winter Carnival 3/4 6:30 pm

April: Walk-A-Thon 4/13, Movie Night 4/30 6:30 pm

May: Are You Smarter Than A Second Grader? 5/14 6:30pm
(This event will be canceled if we do not get a coordinator)

June: Lego Derby 6/5 2-5pm

*Coordinators for our upcoming events are needed! PLEASE let us know if you are interested in volunteering to coordinate or help with any of our events.

*We have are running a contest for Campbell's soup labels, so be sure to save those labels! Email us for more details.

**Deadline for Boxtops is Feb 26th, so please send them in! Any boxtops collected after that day will go towards the 2010-2011 school year.
